Adventure for health and exercise

6am and I'm getting ready to head out for a day of canyoneering. Canyoneering is a great way to have fun and sweat and get some great exercise while doing it. Canyoneering involves endurance, some strength, some swimming, climbing, hiking and generally you travel light so you do a little dieting while doing it. I love living in Phoenix Arizona just for the fact that you can do this with a short drive. I have been on trips where we have to swim for 45 minutes just to get to the mouth of the canyon. I like to take energy supplements with me like VPX Redline Power Rush to keep me going. Protein bars are great too. They are light and water proof and very tasty on your trip. A trip takes about 6-7 hours but it seems like only minutes. The scenery is so breath taking and feeling of being with nature is so great that you really don't want to leave. I always dream of setting up camp and staying for a few weeks. We post a lot of these videos on Youtube
